As Lineage 3 is under development in the Headquarters of NCSoft in Seoul, Director Kim Chi John takes a moment to share what he envisions for the world of Lineage 3.
Lots of races are promised, says Kim, you'll get the typical races as well as some surprises. Human races, Elf races, Speed Races. These are the characters our users have come to know and love throughout the 86 year old heritage of Lineage. We're going to put a lot of money into this project, Kim says, as he lights up a cigar with a wad of dollar bills. We're going to make it accessible to children of 3, their parents and their grandparents. Everybody should play Lineage 3. Unless you're playing Lineage 2 of course.
The last pleasant memory a man should have before he die is his last castle siege, ha-ha, Kim says jokingly. That is how Lineage should be a part of our lives.
Kim hopes to bring people together through his game. It doesn't matter who's on the other side of the computer, because even though a person's friends and guildmates are fat, Lineage will help them see beyond their physical appearance. Fat girls will get married too, because they're pretty elves in the game. Kim stresses that the avatars will be highly detailed, with realistic body physics. It will be just like real life, only with monsters you can kill, Kim promises.
If one is worried that this will be a strain on most modern computers, NCSoft will offer computers for rent. People will pay through their noses and be forever in debt to us. This is good because we can always go to the next generation of players to collect our debts. This game will never end, Kim says with passion, this game is eternal!
With Kim's megalomaniacal drive working with the obsessiveness of Asian people, it is no doubt that Lineage 3 will be the best game anyone with the exception of North Koreans has ever played.
